In Sluis, shops and catering establishments are open 7 days a week all year round. Only on Christmas Day (25 December) and New Year's Day (1 January) are the shops closed.

Sluis does not have a late-night shopping evening; most shops are open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
