Cars
In Sluis, paid parking applies. At the edge of the centre there are large (private and municipal) car parks. You can walk into the centre in a few minutes.
On the private car parks you pay at the machine. On the municipal car parks you park using license plate parking at the machine, via an app (e.g. Parkmobile, Yellowbrick) or SMS.
License plate parking on municipal car parks
With license plate parking, you enter your vehicle's license plate at the parking machine. You then pay with cash, contactless or a debit card for the desired parking time or day ticket.
On the municipal parking spaces you can also pay via app or SMS. You pay afterwards and per minute. This can be done via an app on your phone or by sending an SMS. These are Dutch, Belgian and German apps.
You start the parking time via the app or by calling or sending an SMS. Enter the zone number you find on the parking machine. When you return, you stop the parking time in the same way. The parking costs are charged afterwards via direct debit or credit card. Phone parking works with any mobile phone, with a subscription or prepaid.
Disabled people
There are special wider parking spaces for disabled people in the centre of Sluis, for example on the Groote Markt. Even with a disabled person's card you pay the parking rate.

Buses / coaches
Buses can park for free on the bus parking. The entrance is at St. Annastraat 15 (public toilets). This is also the boarding and alighting point, within walking distance of the centre. It is not permitted to drive into the centre with the bus. See Google Maps for the entrance to the bus parking.
Campers
The best place to park is on the large car park in the Nieuwstraat (near Toversluis / next to the Casino). Overnight parking on a car park is not allowed. Throughout the municipality of Sluis, overnighting with a camper is only possible at campsites.
Motorcycles
Sluis is popular with motorcyclists. There is a special motorcycle parking at Kaai / St. Annastraat, close to the centre and the service point (St. Annastraat 15). Locker rental for e.g. your helmet is available at the service point.
