Museum 't Belfort
The only belfry in the Netherlands now serves as an interactive museum for young and old. There are various rooms / floors:
In the council cellar, changing exhibitions are held all year round.
In the Council Chamber with its beautiful vierschaar railing, weddings are still regularly solemnised and council meetings are held.
The second floor is about the history of Sluis; here you can also see the old Mayor's Room with its gilded leather wallpaper.
The third floor is dedicated to Johan van Dale (founder of the dictionary 'De Dikke van Dale') and language.
From the third floor you can climb the tower for a beautiful view over the Zwin region.
